Welcome Spark Families!

The Spark Experience

At Spark, we unite diverse communities to provide middle school students with opportunities to discover whom they can become today and in the future. 6th and 7th grade students participate in Spark Discovery hosted in partnership with volunteers from local companies and organizations, with a focus on social-emotional learning. Spark connects 8th grade students with trained and screened volunteers based on shared interests and skills for Mentorships where they’ll build a project focused on their future career goals. Spark mentors provide guidance and coaching along the way to support their students throughout the process.

Family Application

This year, Spark is fully embedded as an elective class in each of our partner schools. All students must submit an application to participate in our school-day program and to attend our field trips. Filling out the application provides your consent as a guardian, provides emergency contact information, and allows us to stay funded so we can continue offering our program at no cost to students! Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about the application.
